Projects
Redbank Power Station
Constructed in 2001 the 151MW Redbank power station is the most modern, large scale thermal generator in NSW. Verdant is currently seeking planning approval to convert Redbank from operating on coal to renewable biomass, as a net-zero facility capable of powering up to 200,000 homes.
Warkworth BESS
Verdant is working on the development of a 100MW battery in Warkworth, utilising existing grid connection infrastructure to reduce capital costs. The project is in the initial planning phase, the site is located on unused land adjacent to Redbank.
Project 2000
Verdant aims to deliver 2000MW of renewable generation across Australia, addressing the need to replace declining base load generation capacity as coal power stations phase out. This initiative marks a significant step towards a sustainable and resilient energy future.
